A Righteous Man. . .

What does the Bible say about a righteous man?

(Psalms 37:16)  A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

(Proverbs 10:11)  The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

(Proverbs 12:10)  A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

(Proverbs 13:5)  A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

(Proverbs 21:12)  The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

(Proverbs 25:26)  A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

(Isaiah 41:2)  Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.

(Ezekiel 3:20)  Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

(Ezekiel 3:21)  Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

(Ezekiel 18:26)  When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

(Matthew 10:41)  He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

(Luke 23:47)  Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

(Romans 5:7)  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

(1 Timothy 1:9)  Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

(James 5:16)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

(2 Peter 2:8)  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
