Right on Time God
God is so good. . . How many times have things like this occurred to Jackie and I. We live in the heart of Amish country. The Amish use horse and buggies for transportation, horses for farm field work, etc. So we are surrounded by horses. I awoke this morning, feeling like I hadn't slept last night. I was exhausted, had a slight headache. . . just needed more sleep. I let work know that I would be in late, and rested until I felt ready to face the day. Spent some time sipping coffee, petting the dogs, watching the various birds and a squirrel feed at the feeders before heading off to work As I drove west on U.S. 20 toward LaGrange, Indiana, I thought I saw a horse up in the distance, maybe ¼ mile up the road. Too far away to tell for sure, but as I drove I was thinking maybe it was a glimpse of a buggy just leaving the road, or someone riding a horse, neither of which is uncommon in these parts, in the heart of Amish country.
