Prayers for a Safe Journey
Took the dogs hiking this afternoon. I needed eggs for meatballs, and Jackie 's car needed gas, so I thought I could kill two birds with one stone, and went to the little gas station in LaGrange. Filled up the car and noticed a young woman with the hood of her car up. She had her cell phone out, using the flashlight feature to look under the hood. I went over and asked her if everything was all right? She said that her car was lagging, when she stepped on the gas. This happened about every hour or so. She had a piece of paper from an auto parts store, where it was written down that she needed a PN valve or something like that. I told her that the little BP store wouldn't have that part, and even if they did it was unlikely that she could install it herself without tools, etc. She said she was trying to get home. There were three small children in the car with her. I asked her where home was? She said, "Columbus." "Ohio", I asked?. . . "Yes...
