Do Not Judge Christ by Christians. . .

To call yourself a doctor, you must have a diploma. . .
To call yourself a lawyer, you must pass the bar exam. . .
To call yourself a CPA, you must have certification. . .

But anyone can hang the label Christian upon themselves and truthfully all who call themselves Christian are to one degree or another impostors. To be a Christian means to be Christlike, and in the strict sense of the word, no one deserves that label.

Do not judge Christ by Christians.

More than anything I desire to be Christlike, but I regularly fail. It is safe to say I fail His perfection daily. Christ is pure perfection. . . complete sinlessness, complete selflessness, and I am not. I need Christ. . . I need the blood of Christ’s sacrifice to cover my imperfections. . .but this flesh continues to require daily repentance, the daily humble asking for forgiveness, and the daily Grace of God for the granting of that forgiveness. . .

Do not judge Christ by Christians. . .
There is no blemish. . . no stain upon Him. . .
Do not judge Christ by Christians. . .

I love you my God. . .
I thank you for loving me, in spite of my imperfections. . .
