Be Still. . .
Psalms 4:4
Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still.
Our lives are filled with incessant noise. Radio, television, Ipod’s, Internet, Facebook, Twitter, mobile phones and on and on. . . we are connected and tuned into the world from rising till slumber. . .The noise never ends. The wilderness is a long journey away. . .The chains of this world are the chains which connect us to the world and allow no escape. Stand in awe, and sin not. . .the only time I am truly safe from sin is when my entire attention is focused upon Him with no distractions. . .I find my perfection within Him. . .Reveling in Him. . .not reveling in music about Him. . .I require solitude from other men. It is precious. It is required. The wilderness is well worth seeking. . .standing in awe, naked. . .exposed and silent before Him. . .alone humble and very very vulnerable before Him. . .on my knees weeping before Him. . .Come before Him in silence. . .seek Him quietly upon your bed. . .Come before Him in silence. . . now able to discern the small quiet voice in the darkness. . .Listening for a voice that will come. . .and respond as young Samuel. . .Speak for thy servant heareth. . .Listen for Him. . .
Psalms 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God
Mark 4:39
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.
I love you my God. . .
I love you my Lord. . .
Thank you my God. . .
