Apostolic. . .

I am a Oneness Pentecostal. . . Sometimes known as a Jesus name Pentecostal, or as we name ourselves, Apostolic Pentecostals. This doctrine is not merely another flavor on the vast denominal menu of Christianity. This doctrine predates all other Christian denominations. It is by definition the beliefs of the Apostles. We trace none of our tenets to various councils, or creeds, or historical edicts or traditions. We base our beliefs solely upon Scripture. We did not stray from mainline Christianity. The reverse is the case. We remain rooted with Holy Scripture as our only defining document. We believe as the apostles, and the first century church did. We baptize in Jesus name as described in the Bible. We believe in the words of Jesus, that one must be born of the water and of the Spirit. . . We believe as Peter preached, that you must repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. We believe i

Be Ye Not Deceived. . .

I know what the Bible says about. . . (fill in the blank with your own statement). . .but this is how I believe. . . Does that fit you? That is fine. That is your right to hold any belief you desire, but do not be deceived, if that is your belief, you are not a Christian. Jesus was nothing, if He was not a supporter of the Word of God. Jesus quoted the old testament dozens of times.
